Spartacus Reveals Julius Caesar and Marcus Crassus

After the victorious Spartacus: Vengeance, Starz had renewed Spartacus for a new season. This is going to be anticipated by millions of fans that are dying to see this. This is great news for all the people that wanted to see Liam McIntyre again in action. Even if the much awaited series is still long to arrive there are gossips that had circulated of who is going to be the new enemies and new characters. Well, the main opponent in the new season will be Julius Caesar and Marcus Crassus.

If you had seen the last season, you probably know that Gaius Claudius Glaber was killed by Spartacus. The City of Capua wanted Spartacus to be dead and thus the Senate sends Glaber to deal with the peasant uprising. Since Glaber was defeated then it only means that the Senate must take action. With Spartacu’s victory, Rome cannot let him on the loose.

At that same time, two leaders had emerged, one with ambition and one with riches. These two great men will put an end to Spartacu’s life. Meet Julius Casar (played by Todd Lasance) and Marcus Crassus (played by Simon Merrells), they are the ones that you are going to see in action. Julius Caesar is said to be someone who has a deadly intelligence and skilled swordsmanship. Marcus Crassus will be the one that is rich sought power. He believes that Spartacus and his army crushed in his hands will be a gateway to his ambitions.
